Sikhi Talks on the 14th and 15th Feb at Reading Gurdwara

The newly formed Sikh Society at Reading University in collaboration with the RSYA, have organised with Sikh Awareness Society (SAS) to do talks at Reading Gurdwara. SAS presents 'SURVIVAL' on the 14th and 15th February.

On the 14th February the talks will take place at Reading Gurdwara. It will start at 9.30AM and finish at 6PM, with Chaa and Samosai for lunch....free lunch?....yep!!!

This event has been designed to help us gain a deeper understanding of Sikhi through emotional intelligent, ethical living, spiratual intelligence, development of an authentic personality, calm minds and expressing behaviour by creating altuistic sacred space in actions and being.

0930 - 1030 Introduction to Sikhism: Dhristi (Sikhi Worldview). Unveiling the sacred and spiratual practices.

1045 - 1200 Nature of suffering and craving. Redirecting motivation and desire.

1300 - 1400 Path of inner transformation. Gurmat as psycho-spiratual healing. Moving from belief to experience.

1430 - 1530 Topology of Simran (Mindfulness intent, thought and deed).

1600 - 1700 Ethical living: Gurmat ethics.

1700 - 1800 Ethical living: Authentic leaders


On the 15th February the talk will take place in Reading Gurdwara from 11AM to 1PM

These talks will be open to all ages, it has NO age restrictions
